Salon Tele-workshops - MANAGEMENT
Your Coach offers salon management specific telephone workshops incorporating business education, staff management education and marketing education.

What exactly is a telephone workshop?
A Your Coach Management Tele-Workshop is a 45-minute workshop that is held twice a month, at a nominated time for you to join in by telephone. However, we understand that as a salon owner, you are incredibly busy and your daily schedule does not always go to plan. Staff calling in sick or clients needing to move appointments etc, so we give you a choice. You can be part of the telephone workshop live or, if you are unable to participate you will be emailed a link that will allow you to download an MP3 recording of the live workshop so you don’t ever miss one. Then you can listen at your leisure as you drive in the car or at a time that suits your busy schedule.

The subjects will all be about beauty specific business
The content of every workshop will be beauty specific and all the subjects will be areas that affect salon businesses on a day-to-day basis. Each workshop will be hosted by either Faye Murray or one of the other expert coaches and trainers from the Your Coach team, who know what is needed to operate a successful salon, especially in the tough economic time we are facing.
You will also hear from other salon owners and industry experts we invite to join from time to time because of their knowledge on a given topic.
As a bonus an exciting marketing idea with a template will be added to the members area with each tele-workshop.

We will discuss one of her brand new 2010 marketing ideas that a lot of salons are using with great success. This strategy is directed at driving new clients to your salon. Business Topic: Money is not the only motivator of staff. Many salons have in place an incentive system that they introduced some time ago and by now everyone has almost forgotten all about it. Business Topic: Can’t they or won’t they. This is a training strategy that I have been working with for the last few months that I wish I had learnt many years ago. It is so simple yet so effective. I will show you how you can apply it to get better results from your team.
Marketing Topic: The last minute countdown to Christmas and making sure you have not forgotten anything. We will give you some last minute ideas that can be used to market to your staff instead of your clients so they become fired up marketing machines for the salon.

Business and Marketing Topic: We will have, as our guest, one of Australia’s best day spa owners who will share with you some of the things that she has put into place to make sure that this year is the best year to date. We will cover staff training, rosters, setting of goals and incentives, gift voucher marketing and general Christmas marketing. We will only cover one subject for this session as it will be across all the areas of the business.

What will each workshop consist of?
Each 45-minute session will have a business-focused topic and a marketing focused topic. Each subject will be especially chosen to improve your skills as a salon owner or manager and give you exciting marketing ideas.
Will I participate or do I just listen?
If you join the live session and just want to listen in, that’s fine, or the lines will be open at a certain point to provide an opportunity for you to ask questions of the facilitator if you wish to.
NOTE: Questions may occur to you or other subscribers after the close of the workshop, or after you have listened to the recording. At the beginning of the subsequent workshop we will allow 5 minutes to answer questions that have been emailed to us from the previous one.

How to opt out
You can cancel your subscription by clicking on the ‘Please cancel my subscription’ button on this page. You will receive a message confirming that your subscription has been cancelled and no further payments will be processed.
When will the live tele-workshop be held each month?
Your beauty tele-workshop will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 8.45am EST. One week prior to each tele-workshop you will be emailed the subjects, who will be presenting and details of any guests. You will also receive your PIN in this email to enable you to join the workshop. You will not be able to log in without a PIN.
After each session every subscriber will be sent a link to an Mp3 of the live session to enable those who were not able to participate to download and listen to the workshop or those who did participate to build a resource library and/or review the content for potential questions.
Where do I call to join the workshop?
The email you receive in the week prior to the workshop will plainly detail the number you need to call and your PIN.
Members only area
The Your Coach web site will have a members only area that will have regular updates to keep you abreast of new ideas, templates and forms. As a member you will be provided with a personal PIN to allow you to access this web site.
