Frequently asked questions

Faye has been our business coach for several years. We are business owners but not hairdressers and the help and guidance with marketing ideas has been invaluable. How will I know if business coaching will help me?

By meeting with or speaking with a coach and hearing first hand about the programme. Then follow up by speaking to a similar business that has been using the Your Coach programme and getting their feedback on how they perceive the experience.

How much does it cost?

When you have spoken to a coach and they have established your specific needs they will recommend the level of programme most suitable for you. As everyone’s situation is different there is no set price, but the investment is well within the reach of all businesses.

What is consistent are the resources provided to each client in the form of our Business Management Kit. A Business And Management Assessment Kit, Marketing Kit, Human Resources, Performance Management, Policies And Procedures and Business Plan Assessment Kit, Training Kit, Exciting Team Meetings and Retail Kit.

How long will I need coaching?

It varies, but you are in control. Some of our clients have maintained coaching for some years because they value the ongoing support and find it to be affordable. Others feel that they have control and understanding of their business once they have been introduced to our structured business tools and may decide to cease coaching after 10 – 12 months. Also many clients come back after an absence, because one of the valuable things we provide is energy and motivation.

What happens when I have used all of my coaching hours?

You can purchase additional blocks of hours in a quantity to suit your needs.

Can I buy coaching hours without the resources?

No, that is not possible except in exceptional circumstances. The whole process needs consistency and is not complete without the resources.

How often do we meet/speak?

Generally meetings, whether face-to-face or by phone, are scheduled each month for between 1 and 2 hours depending on circumstances.

What if I need help between visits?

Just a phone call, fax or email will get you the support you need if you have a question or want feedback on something you are planning in between sessions. In fact we encourage you to submit everything that you plan to send out or do, such as service menus, marketing letters, advertisements, price rises and so on.
