Salon Tele-Workshops - STAFF
Your Coach offers hairdressing specific staff telephone workshops designed to offer education, motivation, selling techniques and ideas for staff members to learn all about amazing client service and what it take to win clients.

What exactly is a telephone workshop?
A Your Coach Staff Tele-Workshop is a 30 minute workshop held twice a month, at a nominated time for a staff member, salon owner or manager to join in by telephone. However, we understand that in a busy salon this is not always possible, so we give you a choice. You can be part of the telephone workshop live or, if you are unable to participate you will be emailed a link that will allow you to download an MP3 recording of the live workshop so you don’t ever miss one. Then you can listen at your leisure as you drive in the car or at a time that suits your busy schedule. Most importantly you can use the recording at a team meeting for your whole team so everyone gets the benefits.

The subjects will all be about what happens in a hairdressing salon every day
The content of every workshop will be hair specific and all the subjects will be areas that affect what happens in salon and on a day-to-day basis. Each workshop will be hosted by either Faye Murray or one of the other expert coaches and trainers from the Your Coach team, who know what is required by staff to ensure a successful salon, especially in the tough economic times we are facing.
Monday 3rd May As this is a public holiday this tele workshop will move to Tuesday 4th May at 8.30am EST & Wednesday 19th May at 4.45pm EST
Everyone hates the no word. This session will cover how to handle rejections and get up and over them quickly so that your next client still gets a total service.

Tapping your potential as a salon stylist. This session will encourage you to reach as high as you can to achieve more for you and your salon and your clients.

Why is it that the hairdressers who have the highest client average always have the most personal clients? In this session we will show you how to provide a level of service to your clients so they will love you and love what you do for them and keep coming back.

We will have a special guest who works in a salon just like you every day. She will share with you how she helps her clients to understand how to look after their hair between salon visits and how she consistently achieves success with her retail sales.

What are the consequences of losing clients? We will give you the top 7 reasons why clients choose not to return to a particular salon and how to ensure you don’t lose your clients because any of these factors are part of what you currently do.

How to overcome all the “I can’t do that fears”. Fear of not achieving is such a big stumbling block that many hairdressers have to face and overcome every day. We will help you to get rid of the excuses that feed the fear and give you the confidence to do it and get results.

We will have a special guest Paula Hibbbard, who is a successful hairdresser and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to communicating with clients. She currently works as an educator and specialises in long hair education. In this session Paula will give you some examples of how best to consult, how to chat during the service, how to re-book and how to recommend the right products.

As this is our last session of the year we will focus on all the specific things that you can do during December to make sure it is a wonderful experience for each and every client. How you can contribute in a positive way to your team and how you can get a nice big bonus for December.
What will each workshop consist of?
Each session will be for 30-minutes. The workshop will be available live twice a month at two different nominated times. Each focus subject will be especially chosen to improve the communication skills and commitment level of staff members.
Will I participate or do I just listen?
If you join the live session and just want to listen in, that’s fine, or the lines will be open at a certain point to provide an opportunity for you to ask questions of the facilitator if you wish to.
NOTE: Questions may occur to you or other subscribers after the close of the workshop, or after you have listened to the recording. At the beginning of the subsequent workshop we will allow a few minutes to answer questions that have been emailed to us from the previous session.

How to opt out
You can cancel your subscription by clicking on the ‘Please cancel my subscription’ button on this page. You will receive a message confirming that your subscription has been cancelled and no further payments will be processed.
When will the live tele-workshop be held each month?
You can join your Staff Tele- Workshop at either of two times. The 1st Monday of each month at 8.30am EST or the same workshop will again be presented live on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 4.45pm EST. The last week of the preceding month you will be emailed the subject and who will be presenting. You will also receive your PIN in this email to enable you to join the workshop. You will not be able to log in without a PIN.
After each session every subscriber will be sent a link to an MP3 of the live session to enable those who were not able to participate to download and listen to the workshop or those who did participate to build a resource library and/or review the content for potential questions.
Where do I call to join the workshop?
The email you receive in the week prior to the workshop will plainly detail the number you need to call and your PIN.
Members only area
The Your Coach web site will have a member’s only area that will have regular updates to keep you abreast of new ideas, templates and forms. As a member you will be provided with a personal PIN to allow you to access this web site.
